Public-Studies is a summer school program and workshop series developed as a place to harbor collaboration and challenge conventional learning. An emphasis is placed on process, foundational studies, and translating design through print to digital and occupying a physical space.

He has been published in Gestalten, Good Magazine, Juxtapoz Magazine, Beautiful Decay Magazine, Computer Arts, & Fast Company. is co-founder and creative director originally from Kansas, Marshall migrated between coasts and now calls Los Angeles home. In 2009 he was awarded a Certificate of Typographic Excellence by the Type Directors Club. He has exhibited in Tokyo, Arnhem, Halmstad, New York and Los Angeles.
